One of my resolutions for 2017 was to explore even more my beautiful country and its countless natural secrets. So to celebrate my birthday, I went exploring for 5 days, with my photographer friend Adrián, the North Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the province of Guanacaste.
A land filled with drama and contrasts, beautiful secluded beaches and nature all around. It was the perfect scenario to disconnect from work, social media and focus on the scenery, our photography and embrace the “Pura Vida” lifestyle.
The wind was not in our favor. It was hard to photograph in some locations and very dangerous to get aerial footage with the drone. But the light was fantastic and the scenery breathtaking so we made the most of it.
This particular area of Costa Rica is not that touristy and definitely less crowded than the Central Pacific region. So its perfect for photographers wanting solitude and countless photo opportunities. The vast unexplored coastline is the perfect playground.
We will keep exploring this land of natural wonders and I hope to continue posting once a month a different Costa Rican location on the blog and inspire you to explore this tropical paradise that I’m proud of calling my homeland.
